[He's use to the surprise of waking up on Mondays and being somewhere completely different. But he wasn't expecting to wake up and be greeted with Alex, of all people.
He stays sitting on the edge of his own bed for a moment or two, and then says gently,]
[ she's been used to being on her own for the past week, a little lonely but it'd been alright once she got used to it. however, hearing someone else call out her name this early has her shooting upright in bed in surprise. ]
Oh-- no don't worry. I'm a light sleeper, and I guess I wasn't really expecting anyone to be here after last week.
[ congrats on not having dicks out in a fall murdergame anna, you buck the naked heelie trend. ]
I don't mind. It got a little too quiet last week.
[ from somewhere in the blankets, her little t-rex sticks her snout out and looks around. she's been sleeping on twoplushies, like some sort of spoiled child. which she probably is at this point. ]
His own t-rex seems to be burrowed down in between the pillow and the top of the covers, snoozing. There's no plushies, but there is a four-foot by one-foot case at the bottom of the bed on the floor. It has four clasps on the top where the handle is.
At the foot of the bed is a booked called, A Farewell to Arms.]
[ she rubs her eyes to properly wake herself up, and dangles her legs off the edge of the bed. ]
New week, new location? [ she gets a foot on the ladder and uses it to jump down without actually having to climb. she'll reach back up for the t-rex, which has scrabbled to the edge of the bed and is giving a very t-rex like look of betrayal that her mama left her. ]
[Well, that's fucking depressing on two accounts. Three accounts. He glances at Alex, a bit surprised, and then looks again at the plush she doesn't know.]
[He reaches up over the edge of the bed and sits the plush up at the edge so the two of them can see, but mostly Alex. He sits the other one up beside it, too.]
A little bit. They have your beautiful skin tone and your hair color. They're very cute.
There’s probably something stored in the cupboard, or fridge we can just grab. [ she’s trying to think through the stuff she’s made recently... hmm. food... ]
[ the little rex wriggles and then starts running out the door, alex watches her go and sighs. keeping that little one under control is going to continue to be fun. ]
Thank you.
[ and they will grab some food! delicious. even the reptilian babies can have some food. ]
[Reptile food... But yes, they go to the kitchen, and I am loathe to say that Blanca spoils Alex by making her some food. It isn't five-star chef, he isn't Taako, but it's quick and simple.
And portable! They can carry it and eat it along the way to the northern area. Wow, it's the Wild West. Wild.]
I think the decision might be being made for us...
[ she nods her head at the dinos - one of them, hers because of course it is she apparently got the hyper one, is running at the gun range like she's being drawn there with a magnet. ]
I'm going to need to retrieve her at the very least.
w4, monday

Miss Alex. It's morning.

-- ???!!!
-- Oh. Blanca, it's you.

[He at least wasn't hovering over her on the bed trying to wake her up. Also? He's got clothes on! He isn't naked, or some other weird shit.]
It looks like we may be roommates this week. If you'd like the room to yourself, however, I don't mind.

I suppose we should do some exploring.

Any guesses on what it could be this time?

I would like to say I've seen everything, but this place continues to surprise me. So I haven't the slightest clue.
[He does stand into a small stretch, though.]

What have we had so far... pirates, jungle... I don’t really remember the exact location of the first week though. [ ... bad. ]

[Alex??? Stop. Now isn't the time to forget shit? IN THIS ECONOMY?]
Who are your two friends?
[He is tall enough to see the plushies now without having to even raise up for the top of the bunk. AWFUL.]
no subject
Oh right, that was it.
[ oh... she looks back up at the bed. ] The plushies? One of them was Kano's... Sumire gave it to me after he... well. After that weekend.
...
I don't know the other one.

They look a little like you, in a way.

You think so? I hadn't really thought about it.

A little bit. They have your beautiful skin tone and your hair color. They're very cute.

... Maybe they just made it to look like me?

[He leaves the two plushies seated together and turns back to Alex with a faint smile.]
Should we begin our exploration? We can pick up some breakfast on the way.
no subject
Alright. Let's do that. Did you want to just grab something from the kitchens, or see if there's food at the new location?
no subject
[He looks thoughtful for a moment.]
Let's get something from the kitchen just in case there isn't anything waiting for us in the new area.

Ladies first. [And also, the t-rex.] Even reptilian ones.

Well, I must admit, I wasn't expecting this.

and wow. they rolled into the wild, wild west. ]
... At least it isn't another jungle?
no subject
[Well. He glances at her, and then nods in the direction ahead of them.]
Shall we? Where to first?

Surprisingly, it gets him to look slightly amused, and then he starts after the fleeing dino-girl. Why did they get saddled with more children?]
Let's make sure she doesn't get into trouble, at least.
