Mmm....Wolf and Tiger are a little hard to talk to sometimes, but I don't know if that makes them bad people. Maybe we just need to figure out how to approach them.
But otherwise? They all seem pretty nice and like they want to really help us.
Yeah. [...] Someone asked me what we would do if we found somebody who was happier losing their memories. Like if they lost a bunch of bad ones. I didn't have an answer then, and I'm still not really sure now.
But I wonder if our leaders are in the same position at all.
I had a talk with Mister Won about that, too. About how even bad memories can make you who you are, and how you may be different without them.
[His expression is soft.]
Remember when I said the mind sometimes protects you from bad things by forgetting? But morally, who would be right in taking even bad memories from someone just to make them happy.
That's what I said, too. Because it's true. [but that conversation didn't go so well on his end.]
...you're right. Memories, no matter if they're good or bad, are yours to keep. Even if it's better for somebody else or even for yourself, you can't just take them away and expect everything to be the same.
[...he's absolutely thinking about roxas now, but it also just makes sense to him.]
[Sora is thinking about Roxas, and Blanca is thinking about Ash. It's fine.]
I think if it is their choice, it would be different. If they decide they would not like to have those memories. But then what happens when they begin accidentally stumbling over discrepancies? When something feels like it's missing.
Then they want to know what has been hidden from them, even if they had consented themselves, and they search for it. It really isn't something to play around with.
...they start to wonder who they are. And they start to feel like they're helpless. And sometimes, they fight back.
[just. in general.] That's exactly right though. That's just another reason I want to try to get to know everyone and let people know that we're all on the same team even if it's a competition. That there are people who will help them. I don't think that's wrong.
It isn't wrong. [He smiles slightly.] You remind me of someone back home. Someone I don't know very well, but who I recently met. A friend of a friend, if you will.
His name is Eiji. He came to New York from Japan with someone else. Almost like a vacation, in a way.
He's extremely kind and empathetic. I don't think he ever gives up, even if he's scared. And his friend, Ash; he cares a great deal about Ash, even more than being in danger. He hurts when Ash hurts, and he hates seeing Ash hurt.

How'd you meet them? [blanca just said they're a friend of a friend, but that doesn't mean much.]

[maybe not to that extreme, sora, but again he absolutely sees parallels here.]
