To be honest with you, it's hard to imagine you as a really mean person anyway. [shrug.] Sometimes people really do just need extra guidance. As long as people can be patient with them...there's still a chance things can turn around.

[anyway...] There're people here that could probably still use the extra help, too. Even though it's been about a month now. Maybe a little longer.

[This tickles him, mostly because Sora isn't wrong. But he doesn't laugh, just keeps sort of smiling.]

There are a handful of people here who can, yes. [His look over the rack is a bit knowing.] Have you cracked Miss Clementine's shell any?

[it's weird how people keep asking him about clementine specifically, but the question's met with another grin as he moves to hand over like three pairs of pants that might work.]

It wasn't really that tough to crack, I guess. [from his perspective, anyway.] Clementine's always been pretty easy to talk to even if we don't always see everything the same way. She's just shy with new people.

[He just happens to be real soft on Clementine is all. It's fine. Also, he may or may not want Clementine to have more bubbly friends. She's had a hard life.]

I'm glad she has some people her age to get along with. I think she's... missed out on being a teenager because she has had to be so grown-up.

[to be fair everyone should be soft on clementine and sora nods in agreement.]

Yeah. I think so, too. [a beat.] But she seems a little happier here than when we first met in spite of everything. That's pretty much all I can ask for her right now.

[He nods, folding the pants over his arm which I forgot to take before.]

Sure. [to both of those.] Those aren't really things you have to thank me for though. [blanca is free to try his pants because sora has distracted himself with browsing.]

[He at least has the decency to go somewhere more private to try on the pants! Not that... there's really anything to see except his legs anyway. But still.

He comes back still wearing one of them; they seem to fit pretty well despite his height. He also has another jacket on besides the military jacket.

It's a cool lil duster coat. Yeehaw!]

What do you think? I'm missing the boots with the spurs.

It feels like I should be taking a touristy, glamour photo, honestly. But it doesn't feel too bad.

I don't think that's such a bad thing. [he nods in thought.] Even with everything we have to do here, it's still worth doing things that are fun like this.
